Every October, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service hosts a daytime event for families of all ages called Wild Things. It offers food, music, fun, and boat rides and teaches about the wildlife of Louisiana. This year, the event will be held on October 13, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Southeast Louisiana Refuge Headquarters in Lacombe.
