Check Out Louisiana: State Parks and Museum Passes
Check Out Louisiana is an exciting initiative promoting our state’s rich historical, recreational, cultural, and educational resources. Through this new pilot program, Louisiana residents with a current library card can check out a free, one-day pass to a Louisiana state park or museum from any of the state’s participating public library systems. St. Tammany Parish Library is thankful to part of this initiative and the ability to provide this service to our patrons.

How it Works:
Visit one of these branches and ask a staff member if a state park pass and/or the Geaux Explore backpack are available to check out.
Branches:
- Covington, opens a new window
- Folsom, opens a new window
- Lacombe, opens a new window
- Madisonville, opens a new window
- Mandeville, opens a new window
- Slidell, opens a new window
Only one pass is available per branch, per month. There are no holds on the passes or backpacks. First come first serve.

How it Works:
1. Visit the Check Out Louisiana: Museum Portal, opens a new window
2. Select "St. Tammany Parish Library" from the Select Your Library drop-down menu

3. Log in to the portal with your library card number and PIN (or password if you have a Sttammanylibrary.org website account). If you need help resetting your PIN or password a staff member at any branch can assist you.
