Most of the library's online resources can be accessed outside of the library. Materials are available for free 24-7 to library card holders. Exceptions are C, Jstor, and AmericanAncestors.Org.

Unfortunately, most databases cannot be accessed at local schools. Databases that are allowed for use in schools can be found here.

Library cards are free of charge for St. Tammany Parish residents and can be obtained at any library branch. A photo ID and proof of address must be shown to get a library card.

When the rooms are not being used by the library or its affiliate groups, they will be available for use by other groups for lawful, non-commercial uses.

Each St. Tammany Parish Library branch has computers available for public use. Users are guaranteed one hour, but that time will be extended if no one else is waiting to use a computer.

OverDrive allows users to request a title again three days before it is due through the "Request again" button. If another patron has the item on hold, the user will be placed in the holds queue. OverDrive magazines can be renewed with no waiting.
