Have fines and want to help those in need? The library will be accepting Food for Fines in celebration of National Library Week from April 20, 2026, to May 2, 2026.
For every one (1) nonperishable item donated, one dollar off fines and fees will be waived. The library will be accepting canned and dry goods for local food banks and canned pet food for the St. Tammany Parish Government Department of Animal Services' Public Food Pantry.
Donations can only erase current fines and fees. Patrons can still donate even if they have no fines. Due to the growing need of those struggling within our parish, every donation is welcome.
