This year, we are celebrating America's 250th anniversary!

As our nation commemorates its semiquincentennial this year, we are proud to offer the residents of St. Tammany Parish a dedicated space to explore the rich history of the United States of America.

Second Lady Usha Vance invites students in grades K-8 to take part in her Summer Reading Challenge and celebrate America through the power of books.
Her challenge will run from June 1st through September 4th.
All participants will receive a digital certificate, a personalized letter, and an America-250th-themed bookmark, plus a chance to win a trip to the Nation’s Capital and the White House on September 25th, 2026.
