    Library cards are free of charge for St. Tammany Parish residents and can be obtained at any library branch. A photo ID and proof of address must be shown to get a library card.

    A child must be at least five years old to get a library card. A parent or legal guardian must be present at the time of application for children ages 5 to 17 and show a photo ID and proof of address.

    Non-residents of St. Tammany Parish may purchase an out-of-parish library card for an annual fee of $30.00.

    No, a library card is required to check out any materials. If you have forgotten your library card, ask a staff member to assist you. You will be asked to provide your driver's license.

    Children under the age of 18 may not borrow NC-17 or R rated DVDs without their parents' or legal guardians' consent.

    Replacement cards can be purchased for $3.00 at any branch library.

    A St. Tammany Parish library card may be used at any of our branch libraries.
