Apply at a branch

Library cards are available to all residents of St. Tammany Parish. There is no fee to apply but you will need to bring a few things when applying.

• A photo ID
• Proof of address (such as a utility bill or voter registration card in your name.)

Can my child receive a library card?

If your child is 5 years or older and you both reside in St. Tammany Parish, you can apply for a library card for them.

Cards for minors must be applied for in person, by a parent or legal guardian.

I live out of parish, but would like a card

Out-of-parish residents can get a card for a $30 annual fee. These cards can only be applied for and renewed at a branch.
