This year Slidell kicked out Christmas with the Bayou Jam Christmas Spectacular on December 1st. In attendance was Vince Vance and the Valiants, best known for their hit "All I Want for Christmas is You." Vance is a New Orleans musician known for his cone of hair.
Cutting Edge Theater is putting on a holiday show! Elf: The Musical runs December 2nd and 4th, 8th, 8th, and 11th. Catch it while it's here!
Christmas Under the Stars is held in Griffith Park on the 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th. Free admission to all activities, this little festival features lights, decorations, and fun!
On December 3rd, Slidell High School had their annual Christmas on Tiger Drive , benefiting Toys for Tots. The festival features activities from various Slidell High groups and fun for the whole family!
December 4th is the Olde Towne Christmas Parade . It runs at 5pm from City Hall to Griffith Park.
Starting December 5th, Santa is visiting the Library! Our favorite citizen from the North Pole is making a pit stop at several of our branches, a different one each day! Click the link to see which date he's visiting your local library.
Slidell's Bayou Christmas is being held this year in Heritage Park. The festival is open 6pm to 9pm from December 15th to 18th, as well as December 22nd and 23rd.
The Nutcracker is an annual tradition for many ballet performances, and you can support the local Southern Youth Ballet in their 25th Anniversary Performance on December 17th and 18th.
