Fun-filled June Events for Children and Families

The Imagine Your Story Summer Reading Challenge will bring a June filled with fabulously fun virtual programs for the whole family. We hope you will join us for the Zoom fun!

Family Fridays

Didgeridoo Down Under's high-energy show that combines Australian mythological tales, music and comedy in a one-of-a-kind virtual event at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 5. Register here.

Families will enjoy fairytales and fun as we read stories and then create fairy and gnome gardens with stuff found around the house at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 12.Register here.

Families are invited to dress up and join us virtually for Frozen Family Storytime with winter-themed stories, songs and crafts at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 19. Register here.

Families will work together to escape a fantasy-themed virtual escape room at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 26. Register here.

Spectacular Saturdays

Didgeridoo Down Under will perform another high-energy show that combines Australian mythological tales, music and comedy in a one-of-a-kind virtual event at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 6. Register here.

Calliope Puppets will present Mouse Tales: Celebrate Our Power to Make a Difference! at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 13. From a magical, miniature stage, Calliope Puppets’ hand carved Czech rod marionettes bring to life two classic Aesop’s fables of small mice with great power! The performance will also feature a behind-the-scenes tour of the Puppet Studio and a hands-on workshop teaching you how to create your own puppets using everyday, household items! Register here.

Join Liz from Tales with a Twist for this virtual event, which combines storytelling and yoga to get the whole family moving and engaged at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 20! Take off your shoes, put on your comfiest clothes, and get ready to embark on an "Imagine Your Story" themed yoga adventure. Register here.

Join the one and only Claudia Baumgarten for this special virtual "Imagine Your Story" themed performance at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 27.  A master of theater and storytelling, Miss Claudia is sure to delight and entertain audiences of all ages! Register here.

The Children's Department offers tons of fun events all throughout the week! 

Storytimes with great Imagine Your Story themes like knights, magical kingdoms and more are held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Find out more here.

Imagination Station events for school-aged children feature hands-on activities like Mad Science, Ancient Greek Art and Harry Potter Crafternoons on Mondays at 1 p.m., Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 1 p.m. Find out more here.
