Financial Aid Workshops for College-bound Teens & Parents

The library's Teen Department has partnered with the Louisiana Office of Financial Student Affairs (LOFSA) to present workshops for college-bound teens and their parents.

A LOFSA Public Information Representative will review general scholarships, grants, and loans at the Financial Aid Overview Workshop at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, at the Slidell Library, 555 Robert Blvd., and at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, at the Causeway Library, 3457 HWY 190, Mandeville.

Surfing the Web for Financial Aid will explain how to make the most of the Internet to maximize financial aid opportunities.  It will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 22, at the Causeway Branch Library, 3457 Hwy. 190, Mandeville. 

The events are free and open to the public. Seating space is limited and online registration is required.
