Covington Branch Renovation Nears Completion

The library is delighted to announce that the renovation of the Covington Branch at 310 W. 21st Avenue is nearly complete! 

In order to make the move of materials from the Covington Temporary Branch to the renovated branch, the temporary branch will close on Wednesday, January 15. The Covington Branch will reopen on Monday, January 27.

The Ribbon Cutting for the renovated branch will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5.

The Grand Reopening Celebration will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 8. The celebration for all ages will include a performance by Mestre Curtis Pierre "The Samba Man" and a Zumba class with Covington Mayor Mark Johnson as well as other activities, crafts and fun.
