Do you want to make a difference during this unprecedented time? Do you want to know if you have already had the Coronavirus? Sign-up to donate blood to help those in need and get free antibody testing at the following library locations with the Ochsner Blood Mobile:
- From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, August 7 at the Slidell Branch. Register online at sttammanyslidell.ochsnerbloodbank.org.
- From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 15 at the Covington Branch. Register online at sttammanycovington.ochsnerbloodbank.org/
- From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 22 at the Mandeville Branch. Register online at sttammanymandeville.ochsnerbloodbank.org/
To participate, you must wear a mask and social distancing will be enforced. The Blood Mobile will be sanitized between donors so there will be a longer than normal wait time. Donors will receive a free t-shirt and free antibody testing for COVID-19.
Registration is required. Space is limited to those 16 and older. These events are free and open to the public.
