Let Your Local Reference Librarians Give You the Gift of Help this Year!

by Noelle Williams, Reference Coordinator

The month of December can be very stressful! There’s so much to prepare from holiday dinners to travel arrangements to gifts for those special loved ones. Maybe you feel like you could use a little support. Well, the library’s Reference Department would like to give you our own special gift: the gift of help!

Your local reference librarian is available to answer your holiday research questions, including questions about how to install the library’s eBook apps on that new tablet you bought for your mom or dad, or how to access the library's online resources from home as you finish up the last few projects that are due before the end of the year. Looking for a book to enjoy on your trip home? A reference librarian can help with that, too!

You can find a reference librarian at the Causeway, Covington, Madisonville, Mandeville and Slidell Branches. They are available to help Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. To make an appointment with a reference librarian, please call your nearest library branch or use this online form. We’d also love for you to stop by with your questions.

Have a safe and happy holiday!
