Two New Librarians Join the St. Tammany Parish Library Team

by Noelle Williams, Reference Coordinator

The St. Tammany Parish Library has welcomed two new reference librarians. Ellen John has joined the Covington Branch staff and Stephanie DeLisi has joined the Causeway Branch staff.

Ellen has worked for the library for more than four years, first as an associate at the Madisonville Branch, then as the Adult Programming Assistant, and now as a reference librarian at the Covington Branch. She received her B.A. in Communications from Loyola University New Orleans and her M.L.I.S. from Louisiana State University. She enjoys reading, cooking, visiting museums and exploring new places with her family.

“The library has been one of my favorite places since I was a small child, so I’m very excited to begin my career as a librarian!” explained Ellen.

Stephanie received her B.A. in History from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2009 and later received her M.L.I.S. from Louisiana State University in 2017. Originally from Ascension Parish, Stephanie recently joined the St. Tammany Parish Library team, but has worked in public libraries for 9 years.  She enjoys reading, painting, knitting, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Please feel free to welcome both of our new librarians when you stop by the Covington or Causeway Branches!
