Phase Two Continues @ the Library

by Shellie Lister, PR Librarian

With Governor Edwards' most recent order, the library will remain in Phase Two.

The Causeway, Covington, Madisonville, Mandeville, Slidell and South Slidell Branches will remain open at 50% capacity from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Each branch will continue to offer curbside service.

The Abita Springs, Bush, Folsom, Lacombe, Lee Road and Pearl River Branches will remain open for curbside service from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Patrons who wish to use curbside service can place items on hold here on the website or by calling the branch they wish to visit. When the holds are ready for pick-up, the borrower will be notified.

Library materials may be returned to any branch. Overdue fines are not currently being charged.

The library will continue to offer eBooks as well as downloadable audiobooks, movies, magazines and music through the OverDrive, CloudLibrary and hoopla apps.

All twelve library branches have free wi-fi available in their parking lot from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
