The Truffle Honeys: Jazz, Swing & Broadway Tunes

by Jillian Boudreaux, Adult Programming Coordinator

Choral singers Barbara, Jennifer and Sarah formed the Truffle Honeys in 2013 in order to branch out and sing less classical works including 20th century American hits spanning the genres of pop, jazz, folk and Broadway tunes.  Each member has been singing since childhood and individually the women have performed with professional organizations such as the Louisiana Philharmonic Symphony Chorus, the New Orleans Symphony Chorus and even Carnegie Hall in New York.  The Truffle Honeys have performed at church concerts, the Roosevelt Hotel and the Preservation Resource Center.

Listen to the melodic sounds of the Truffle Honeys from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 29,  at the Covington Library, 310 W. 21st Ave.
